Welcome to the first installment of a new column called Weekly Roundup! If there is one thing I love, its finding a way to talk about obscure think pieces and my love of random a** products in one link heavy article for your viewing pleasure. This week has been exhaustively muggy, its almost 100 degrees F here is Cleveland with humidity levels that make it much a kin to the amazon rain forest. Its so hot, I’ve even contemplated wearing a tank top and shorts, which is a VERY rare occurrence for this queen of ice….
Thankfully, the internet gods offered up a poo poo platter of extra goodness to make the heat a bit more bearable and I am thrilled to offer you the first of many weekly roundups.
Let’s start with a ooey gooey recipe, because who can get through so much content without a good snack!
Bon Appetit Best Coconut Cream Pie. They say there are two kinds of people in this world…. Pie People and Cake People. I don’t know what it says about a person who likes one over the other, but I do know this, pie is the obvious choice. I remember a few years back reading an article from Sift Magazine about the anthology of pie. The history of pie is long and seasoned with plague, war, and starvation and what can only be marked as a feat of human ingenuity and adaptability. Pies can be savory, sweet, a useful way to use what other wise might be discarded leftovers after a meal. Pies are adaptable and are remade and recast for every generation. This particular pie, if we are talking about the evolution of pies over the ages, is the final phase of “becoming” for a pie. It is the zenith of the Pie’s long, arduous crawl to the top of the dessert food chain and, what I would call, one of the most delicious pies I’ve ever eaten. Make it, devour it, think about it for days to come…thank you Claire Saffitz for making a pie of dreams.
Okay, now that we’ve gotten food out of the way, lets focus on my favorite swim brands and the new suit I’m obsessed over – Maaji Circlet Beautiness Suit
I never bought magazines as a college student mostly because they were an expense I wasn’t willing to afford. But upon meeting the man of my dreams he bought me a subscription to Architectural Digest (one of the many reasons I snatched him up). I have now received the magazine for over 5 years and love to glean inspiration from its silky pages. This week I found on their website a dreamy home tour that is to die for. Moody, Vintage, and just the touch of rustic I adore.
This is the bathroom cleaner that smells sooo good, is plant based, and has quickly climbed the top of my list Method Brand Eucalyptus Mint Bathroom Cleaner

I have long skinny legs, an am continually plagued by short work pants. I recently went to the loft, and found a pair that fit well, are long enough without having to size up and manage to stay snug but have stretch throughout the day. Now, I only wish they came in Khaki as well…
Last, but certainly not least, this final this quip-y article made me laugh on Monday and I hope it makes you laugh at humans too.
Ciao,
Bethany
