This Fall I feel like we are going very traditional. Lots of classic plaids, tweeds, and leather- all of which I LOVE. Some of my favorite street styles I’ve seen have been lots of pattern mixing, mix and matching animal prints, and bold rich colors. Here are some of my favorite pieces for all this Fall’s fashion trends!
Plaid Statement Pieces
Everyone loves a good plaid, and this season there is A TON of it! I know most seasons my plaid consists of a flannel shirt or scarf, but this year try something new. Pair your favorite sweater with a chic plaid skirt, or mix it up with a plaid dress! Plaid is perfect for work attire, but can also be dressed down for a lunch with friends.
Structured Tweed & Checkered Blazers
Blazers are something I typically stay away from because I feel they make me look boxy, but I recently purchased one from J. Crew and I love the cut. The best way to know what kind of blazer looks best on you is to try all different cuts and styles. It also is the perfect way to dress up a look for an evening out. You get what you pay for, so see it as an investment. A blazer (if well cut and taken care of) can last you a lifetime.
Chunky Sweaters & Balloon Sleeves
Sweaters… My single favorite item of clothing… well, maybe tied with jeans. Nothing says fall like a cozy sweater and this year balloon sleeves are in. Look for chunky knits in neutrals or burnt colors and pair with your favorite dark denim and boots.
70’s Inspired Florals
This years fashion shows reminded me of my Grandma’s bedroom in the best possible way! Updated silhouettes with classic paisley or floral patterns are perfect for this fall.
Animal Print, Western Inspired, & Chunky Heel
If you are in the market for new fall shoes, this autumn look for a fun pair of loafers with chunky heels or a good pair of western style boots. Animal prints are also a fun way to spice up an outfit or add some color into a neutral look.
Art Deco Style Jewelry & Structured Totes
Minimalist, art deco, geometric… how ever you want to describe it, look for statement jewelry with simple lines and neutral colors to pair with your fall styles. Also add the perfect structured tote bag to add a more refined look. I am also loving silk scarves right now and have purchased at least 3!
